A crazy roller coaster of a period. We got all the emotions. Depression that the season was over, happiness that maybe it isn't, and anger at the stupid ref. I can't wait for the2nd!

Amazed how Backlund can knock a goalie over by skating behind the net.
So now you cannot allow an opposing defender to run into his own goalie because he cannot read the ice properly and run his own goalie? weird.

I didn’t believe in the Wideman effect but holy hell since the case got thrown out things have gone from bad to seriously ridiculous

Flames should just prepare for about 2 highly questionable calls against every game. You can't really do anything about it at this point. Seems to be the average, more or less.

Has Rittich been that bad in practice that he can't get a start. Gillies is really nervous and this game is winnable with adequate goaltending. Whoever is marking Crosby is doing a great job... Have not heard his name much.
