Stewart is absolutely awful. -7.3 CF% this season and -10.7 last season. Waste of a roster spot.

Sweet! Low risk acquisition. Nothing given up to fill in an area of weakness on the Flames roster! Hopefully, a change in scenery will motivate the guy to perform better. If he is pending UFA, it may even motivate him more. Worse that can happen is to waive him again or scratch him.

Stewart is a player I feel like could be a big factor in a playoff series. I'd rather him on our side than face him in the playoffs.

Had no idea had had 64 pts one season, including 28 goals with the Avs. Never got close to it again tho, super low risk pick up. Kind of underwhelming if that’s it from the Flames but that’s usually how she goes.

Yup, when I saw his name on waivers I thought we’d take a shot. Plays with some edge, power forward style play and can score goals especially when he cares to.
Pretty sure Kane is out of the question now

I said yesterday that he'd be a decent pick up for us.
No assets, low dollars, upcoming UFA, plays RW. He ticks a lot of boxes and if he doesnt work out well, theres lots of popcorn in the press box.
