Wow ~ only one PP point for Grabner this year... in fact for the past 4 years it seems he's been left off the PP all of his points are even strength with a couple of SH points to since 13~14.

I mean even if you take away his empty netters this year he's still sitting close to 20 goals... all even strength. Definitely not a piece to be brought in to help a power play unit.

Action definitely picking up on Rangers' Grabner. Cheap cap hit. Teams coming harder at NYR today it seems...
But are they hanging hard?

I have no idea if I'm using that right.

Would the logic be the opposite though? Dude scores all his goals 5v5 with no pp time. Give him PP to and the goals go up?

Who could Boston have that we would possibly give up Bennett for? I'm open to a Bennett trade (it would take a lot to get him through) but I don't think Boston makes any sense.

From Eklund

On Calgary and Bennett....

Word out of NY, the Flames may be working on a blockbuster because some are hearing that Sam Bennett is very likely to be moved....most say traded BEFORE Monday... Hearing the Bruins... Adding Bennett to the Rumor Chart...

Who the hell would we be pulling from Boston?

I'm losing a bit more faith in this organization as each and every season passes by, so hey - I wouldn't be surprised to see Bennett go to the Bruins for some silly short-term band-aid grit-chart hero.

I would pay more for Zuccarello than Grabner. Crafty little guy, I see a lot of similarities to Hudler.
However, he's UFA next year and will probably (deservedly so) get a pretty large raise.

Blockbuster trade . . . Bruins are going for it, not sure what we could get that wouldn't disrupt their roster.

Plus it's Eklund, so it's about as reliable as moldy jello.

Now's the time to grab Kane if you want him, while teams are busy coveting and driving up the prices of the other scorers like Grabner (who would be my top pick as well, but there are few teams we can outbid at this point).

Why on earth would you take anything that con artist Eklund says seriously?

A package for Pastrnak?

Naw, the Bruins wouldn't shed a guy like that prior to playoffs, would they? Unless they have some bigger plan.

Sounds like fluff.

lol there's no chance at all they'd trade us pastranak unless Gaudreau was involved. The bruins don't seem to make much sense.

I have a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach about this though. I think it might be true.

Or Boston plans on signing Iginla and we trade them Bartkowski for him.
