Nobody knows. That is the problem with officiating over the past few years, the players don't know, the coached don't know, the officials just randomly make calls, it is mind boggling it is allowed to continue.

I figured the quick wave off was "no high stick" and then the point was "goal".
ETA: and on the replay I think he was below the crossbar on the best angle.
