My biggest gripe with Netflix is the way they remove content without warning. Would it kill them to send a notification if a show you're currently watching or is on your wishlist is going to be pulled?

They used to have a notification in the title itself, something like "Until XXXX".
Netflix pulled King of the Hill while I was almost exactly halfway through.

Show's that get cut off suddenly would see a spike in DVD/digital sales immediately after, it's probably substantial enough that everyone would make a point of having it in the contract not to warn Netflix users about cutoff dates. I wouldn't expect it to go away any time soon.

Look at https://ca.flixable.com/
It is pretty good and you can see a list of what's getting taken down.

Most of the the stand-up comedy specials made for Netflix are really horrible. I think there was one compilation that was good, but I think I get more laughs sitting in my car and listening to AM 1060.
On the topic of cars and comedy, I like that they got some of the "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" added. The ones with Norm MacDonald and Garry Shandling were good.

That's pretty disappointing if so. I saw that Bo Burnham directed it and I am very fond of his work.

Most comedy specials just aren't that great, even greats like Bill Burr are hit an miss with their specials, comedians have to move fast and churn out tons of content because no one laughs at the same joke twice, they basically have 1-2 years to put out an hour of original content.
The new Katt Williams is mostly great, even though he spends the first 15 minutes doing local humor for the Jacksonville audience, the last half hour killed me.

Yeah, I remember the subject material was kind of soft. Like when people who were edgy and hardcore start talking about kids and playdates.

I thought the second Chapelle was worse than the first. Almost like he was testing the material. Not as polished as his other shows.

I haven’t enjoyed as many of the Netflix stand ups as much as I was hoping. But that being said watch the Jimmy Carr standup if you haven’t, it’s hilarious.

There were maybe two jokes about white people. Did you watch the other 59 minutes? I thought it was funny.

For standup on Netflix, I really enjoyed the two John Mulaney specials.

There was a solid 10 to 15 minutes about how he's prepared his kids for the "white man" then his special went into hot takes about how we need bullying. I laughed a little after that about a joke I cant remember now.
Yes I watched it and kinda wondering if you did now

Mulaneys specials and Seguoras specials are comedy gold. Toms first special on there is so funny I can watch it over and over again. His limo driver story and the porno/spanish learning bits are on par with anything I've ever heard in stand up.

I just checked and that joke was 4 minutes long. The other joke about white people (it was more about cops) was a minute. So less than 10% of a Chris Rock special makes jokes about white people. Why so sensitive? I can accept not thinking it’s funny, but don’t take comedy so seriously, especially when you’re a fan of Tom Segura, who I agree is very funny. He was protested for using the R word. Did that upset you?

1) Toms special was hilarious
2) I doubt he did 10 minutes of how ######ed people are evil
3) Rocks 1st portion of special going on and on about evil white people wasn't funny

Mulaney is awesome, and his Netflix stuff is good. But this is basically a magnum opus of a joke.

Seriously, that's up there with Norm Macdonald's moth joke on Conan.
