The Jankowski goal is something they don't do enough on the PP. The quick pass into the slot is very effective. Many teams try to set up those goals. CGY otoh tries to fire pucks through traffic and hope it gets through almost exclusively.
When Gaudreau is distributing from the right half wall the pucks gets moved quickly (puck on his stick in the middle of the ice) while many different set ups are available.
Especially the pass from behind the net (which ensures the goalie is deep in the net). This is especially odd since Calgary has a bunch of players who are good from that area - Johnny, Tkachuk, Bennett, Frolik, Ferland, Backlund.

Over other poster’s reactions to the hot chick Gif several weeks ago?
Probably other factors, but he didn't seem to like that, for sure. The guy who made the biggest fuss about it (not to mention argued with literally everyone) got himself lifetime suspended anyways.

He was upset that some posters were suddenly able to have his post game celebration GIF that we have enjoyed for years ruled NSFW, so moved on. Can’t realky blame him.
Wow! Given some of the crap that is posted in the forums, that gif was a non issue.

Why don't we blame the sport of hockey? If nobody played this game Smith wouldn't have had to react to make that save which ultimately caused the groin injury.
We need to blame numbers. If 3 wasn’t > 2 this never would have happened.
Great win!

I love Hamonic the person and I will always root for him to do well (except when he plays against us).

How
How can u pull the goalie and be outnumbered in the corner? 3 flames to 2 islanders ? How can this team not understand basic hockey 101? Let’s play in our end the entire 3rd period and there no way the other team can score? How about we learn pee wee hockey puck clearing from ur own end ? Has Pelech successfully cleared the puck this year out of the D zone ?Can someone please watch a yout I’ve video or something ? I mean come on for Christ ####ing sake ! Every night ! Y even play d men. Just play 5 forwards and hope to win 10-9

the reason that pp goal isn't scored often is because it's very rarely open and effective.
On the replay on the Islanders feed they showed how the flames moved the puck high low so fast, the Isles lost their coverage.
But-it's a broken play. Gaudreau whiffs, puck goes off defender and deflects to Bennett.
Kudos to Bennett, he made a snap decision to make the right play, and then, executed.
That might be an example of Bennett 'feeling it' and having success.
Either way, the reason you don't see it happen often on the PP is generally because it's a play that's isn't really open very much for teams that collapse low on the PK. The Flames are like that, you'll see hamilton bent at the waist when the puck is in the corner to create a barrier with his stick so the play to the front of the net is low percentage. Kris Russell gets down on his stomach which has dubious effectiveness in my opinion, but it's another example.
I'm just rewatching the sequence again and what's actually more impressive is the chance Janko/gaudreau/bennett generate just before the goal. They have a shift together where Janko just about scores off a rebound from a gaudreau right wing chance. That's how the PP is drawn up, and it looked super dangerous.
This is probably my longest PGT thread post of all time.
