Optimistic view: Flames just being cautious with Mike Smith in carrying him off since the game was over anyway. Game's outcome is decided, no need for him to even try to skate off under his power. Get him to the dressing room and put some ice on it.

Nice comeback.... lousy ending for Smith... from the way he was acting he could be out for a while. Now it’s the Rittich and Gillies show for the rest of the regular season probably. Confident that they can get the job done

Man... With the win I would usually be over the moon happy, but it's really bittersweet with Smith getting hurt. I sure hope it's not long.
