Man, how is Lazar not shooting that early so Stajan can go in for a rebound. Holding onto the puck for too long on a 2 on 1 and getting your shot deflected is embarassing.

Since GG took over I would say about 80% of the time I feel the team is less than the sum of its parts. This makes people feel the parts aren't that good when actually it's the team play that blows.

And in other games, the anger is justified. Next time he takes an actually stupid penalty, feel free to criticize.

But don't lump the soft, undeserved calls in with the bad ones, because it exaggerates the truth.

Hell, Gaudreau has a few plays this game that were more penalty-worthy than what Bennett got called for. Every puck battle on the boards has a guy with his hand off his stick, half the time the only difference between a solid defensive play and holding is how hard the other guy sells it.
