Deryk Engelland is getting third most ice time among Vegas defencemen with over 21 minutes against the Sharks. I did not imagine Engelland becoming a solid top four defenseman like this, but I'm very, very happy for him.
He was paired with Brodie on the top pairing when Gio was out and won a playoff round on a surprise team.
I am happy for him too but not surprised.
He beat up 2 Canucks at once. What about him is not awesome?

William Karlsson is alone in 3rd for goals scored with 29. He had 6 goals in 81 games last year. His career high before his year was 9 goals.
That's impressive. Good for him. It's amazing what some people can do when they're given a chance.
The problem with that is that it is his contract year. He is going to get a significant raise from his 1M salary this year. It will be interesting to see if he can replicate things.
