It’s great they won, but, they need to go watch an effective power play sometime and try it.

Don't think so. It sounds like the NHL ruled Johnny didn't touch the puck during the high stick review.

Even if they don't give the goal to Johnny pretty sure he touched it..

It would be a bit strange to see him THAT fired up for a goal he didn't score or assist on.

Wow. Better that than waived off for a high stick I guess

Monahan is heating up. Aside from the ENG/GWG he made a whole bunch of plays, had some good takeaways and skated well.

Leave Cameron at the curb at the United center, don't even call him a cab.

Lol Oilers 13 points back despite their glorious, glorious win.

Well yeah, but it's pretty fricking obvious that SJ losing does more for us than the reverse.

Smith was very good (lucky with two crossbars too). First line carried the team. They need to pick up their game if they want a successful road trip but a great start.

I think Jankowski needs to get into a shooter's mentality. He needs to build his offensive game around getting his heavy wrister on net. Too many shifts where nothing happened from his and the other lines. Another poor game in the breakouts and zone entries. That's where the good chances come from.

Can't just rely on Smith and Gaudreau's line.

They have a few games in hand on all the teams they're chasing, but they'd have to win every single one of those to get even a sniff.
