What a game! Monahan easily could have had a hat trick! Johnny was electric, better than Kane. Smith with an awesome bounce-back game, he totally mauled Monahan after the game.
Spoiler!

Seriously? Do you believe fans have any actual insight into the inner workings of a NHL team?
I don't know, maybe or maybe not.
For me, transactions (trades, coaching changes, etc.) are part of the entertainment of watching hockey...so it's nice to consider all types of possibilities.

Gaudreau was awesome tonight. As much as Monahan showed he has a great sense of getting open, almost all of his scoring chances in regulation were orchestrated by a highly-motivated Gaudreau tonight. Really great to see.
I'd like to see them rotate Jankowski and Kulak back in despite this line up winning the game. Jankowski adds a dimension of size and skill. Hopefully a game in the pressbox lights a fire under him and we see a little more compete. As for Kulak, I don't really care if he is in or not... I'd rather Andersson was up with the team, but he's certainly better than Bartkowski.
Smith made some big saves and looked over the moon about the win. Good for him after a tough outing.
Frolik looked more like himself tonight and that line was very good. Too bad Tkachuk didn't score on the between the legs attempt, that was pretty cool.
Sean Monahan has scored 130 goals so far in his career.
1 in every 5 has been a GWG.
Talk about clutch.
How much better than average is that? Seems like the average goals per game is a bit over 5, which would mean that 1 out of every 5 or so goals scored is a GWG.

Should totally be a 3rd straight win but you know, untimely things happen and it's bound to come back the other way. Let this be the start of all the crap that went against them in the past 6 coming back on the positive end and some renewed confidence that when they push through and don't stop, they'll get their way.
