Certain he'll fight someone bigger than him and likely get pounded. I suppose he could have a shot against Kassian as long as he avoids the opening lefty flurry. Maroon or Lucic will tune him up but I guess its possible seeing a little guy fight a big guy may pump up the team.

I thought Hathaway has taken a step back the last 5 games or so. I can see Hathaway replaced by Lomberg

Also, Flames still haven’t properly paid back the Oilers for Ference jumping one of our non fighters (Stempniak) a few years ago on home ice.

He has fought 6'4'' Tinordi and 6'4'' Stortini in the AHL before.

Lomberg should give McDavid the ol' Brandon Manning. Thats where you're in the vicinity of McDavid when he wipes out for no real reason and you get blamed for it.

the most concerning thing about those videos is that both times Anderson was the recipient of an open ice hit with his head down.

Gotta be happy for the guy. Small energy player thats made it with an incredible work ethic. Would love to see him get the call for the fourth line tonight.

Happy to see this. Lomberg won't back down from anybody and has a little skill as well that won't hurt.
This is a message to Hathaway, Hrivik, Mangiapane as to what they need to do to stay up.

Just hope he sees the ice for more than 3 minutes.....same goes for Mangiapane......let them play Glen.

Maybe this has something to do with Conroy going to Ottawa? Maybe someone from the bottom line is being moved.

Of all the things to worry about with GG I’d think him actually not rolling 4 lines would be dead last. He’ll get plenty of ice time.
