Agreed. The season has never been in any danger of being close to over at any time. It baffles me how much people's perception can change based on whether they are just above or below the playoff line.

I don't recall anyone saying the season was over at that time. Funny thing is that you consider yourself an optimist yet just made a post saying that posters here were laughable calling the season at the 20 game mark which is fabricated. Just goes to show that overreaction isn't limited to either side of the fence in the ongoing argument of negative vs positive and there's little gained by posts like yours calling out posters for stuff that didn't really happen.
