Aren't announcers supposed to make fans excited to watch a game and build up excitement when teams get close to scoring? He's doing it on the CGY PP too so what's the problem? Especially for a national game with lots of casual fans...I doubt most fans want totally emotionless commentary just for the sake of not giving the impression they're favouring a certain team.

Teams score about 15-20% of the time on a PP.

I believe penalty shots and shoot-outs run more like 25-30%.

1. Send more than one guy at the puck when we dump it
2. Stop dumping the puck into the corners

Frustrating to watch Backlund go into the corner with 4 Jets, and the closest 2 Flames are both just watching. No #### he's gonna lose that one.
