And my post you quoted stated CF%. It definitely has a correlation with winning, more than any measured stat or analytics publicly available.

Do you even understand these stats? Or are you arguing for the sake of it?

I think people are leery of corsi stats because they have been used so much recently as ointment on Edmonton's overall no-godness

I hate how the Saddledome plays music in the concourse now. It's so loud, you can hear it standing outside the dome.

lol I understand them thoroughly, thanks.

Was my response not clear enough? I stated (quite accurately) that they have a positive but weak correlation with winning (which tells us little to nothing).

If that hurts your feelings, that's on you.

Best way to watch a game. And such an easy feature to add to a broadcast.

It certainly doesn't hurt my feelings, but it's definitely a little odd to get railroaded just for posting a tweet that shines a positive light on the Flames with a single simple stat.

Huge game, need a win but I feel a let down game happening because the Jets are on a 2 game losing streak and the Flames break.

Flames pretty much have excellent "advanced" stats across the board. Weakness is special teams (looking a bit better lately) and poor shooting % which, in my personal opinion, came down to a lot of bad luck and players lacking confidence earlier in the season

We should be bullish on the Flames going forward.

Jets had their break the same week as the Flames. Both teams will probably be sluggish in the 1st.

Did the Jets get a practice in? If not, that probably favours the Flames a bit.

Nice little interview with Ferland. He looks focused and intense today. Someone is going thru the boards in the first few shifts.
Also mentioned that his hockey hero was Jordan Tootoo growing up, its nice to see things come full circle for Ferland. Pretty awesome that he is a great role model for aboriginal kids now. Go Ferly!

If you have a distinct centre channel, like with 5.1 surround, then you can just unplug the centre channel and you will get exactly this. The remaining sound is just the game sound, and you can turn it up as loud as you want.

Really diggin the whole Hockey Day thing coming from Corner Brook. I know a lot of people don't like the whole concept nor the stories and the heritage that HDIC is really all about, but I just eat it up. I am a fan of the history of the game, so that helps peak the interest i guess.
A part of the world I have never been to, but the setting is awesome and looks like a great destination in the summer. Will have to work it in when myself and the much better half do our coast to coast trip in a few years.

I think any further arguments in this thread need a few qualifiers:
 CF =/= CF%

 CF ~ TOI
