Lindros is having his jersey retired tonight before the game. Sounds like the ceremony will take almost an hour. Hope I can catch some of it.

It's amazing how well the Bruins are doing. I guess it helps when you draft gems like Pasternak, McAvoy, Heinen and Carlo.
Debrusk actually seems to be coming along alright too, but imagine if they hadn't whiffed on the other two of those 3 first round picks they had all in a row. If they would have snagged two of Barzal/Connor/Boeser/Chabot they would be laughing. And that's not really hindsight either. Most were surprised on draft day when they took Zboril, Debrusk and Senyshyn with those other guys on the board still.

If I'm Tavares I run far and fast from the Islanders and don't look back.
They haven't even come close to building a contender around him when he was making $5.5 million, how in the heck are they going to do it when he's making double that. Especially without anything even remotely resembling a decent NHL goalie.

Run away JT, run away. Just don't come west unless it's to Calgary.

How do you expect them to have success when a quarter of their roster is on the IR? They were playing great before injuries took over.

Leafs 2-0 lead going into the 3rd evaporates early in the 3rd.
If the leafs lose tonight, the media is going to awesome tomorrow.

Quarter of their roster has been on the IR for 9 years?

Because that's how long they've been trying to build a contender around JT and failed miserably.

Run JT run.

Soon. But not tonight.

4-0 now. How has this garbage team gained four points against the Flames?

No. Because in those Oilers games it looked more like the Flames beat themselves. This is different, and it is annoying.

Penguins with an early 1-0 lead
/Of course, they also had a 1-0 lead in Anaheim last night and we know how that turned out.
