You're manufacturing concern where there is none based on body language from however far away. It's really odd, and the reaction you're getting shows that. Of all the things to be concerned about, this one is outright ridiculous.

He skated slowly (looking like he was tired from that end to end sequence) over to Johnny and Hamilton and was beaming / smiling.

Time to move on. This was much ado about nothing and now you're just trying to save face.

Further proof Monahan doesn’t like OT wins.
Barely puts his arms up. And doesn’t rush down the ice like everyone else on his line, in fact he never makes it to the pile.

Wasn’t tired or anything on that 1:30+ shift getting hacked in front of the net.

Trade this bum.

this post is completely wrong. I just rewatched. In the game highlights, you see him go right into the goal celebration scrum with Gaudreau/Hamilton. if you watch further, you see him in the scrum/lineup with Smith in the traditional game victory celebration.

Nothing to see here folks.

This place has been depressing, and yes the team can shoulder the blame for that due to the lack of results. However, they're on their longest win streak of the year, and this is what we now have to discuss.....

yikes.

Even more impressive considering he doesn't have any first liners playing with him...

Wow, so you're saying he hates winning now?

Trade this cancer. Don't need guys like that on the team.

Too busy handling asses maybe?
seriously, hope everything is ok with the guy.
All is good in Strykerland, but I do appreciate the concern!

Just had enough of all the negativity here, which includes the nonsense around my posts. So I’ve decided life’s too short to worry about it. Been having more fun celebrating elsewhere.

How Monahan-esque of you Stryker.

Moping around, not having fun. Such a shame.

Stryker, this is unfortunate. If there was ever a silly decision made around here, it was to declare your post-win celebration as unsafe. Hope you reconsider.

I certainly understand StrykerSteve's sentiment. FlamesDraftWatcher seems to have left as a result of Team "I have a bad feeling about this".

It's too bad it's such a vocal minority but there are a lot of well informed passionate fans here too.

My post wasn't to be negative, I was looking for any rationale reason as to why the lack of excitement that he has shown before or similar to his teammates in the same moment. It was weird and not typical.
I also thought Textcritic's reply was very very good. I think it is the right one! I also noticed Monahan's low key response in overtime and at the time I got the impression it was a set play. I am sure Monahan was probably quite tired at that point and Johnny put in a little extra jam in the celebration because he was hauled down twice with no call. Johnny was definitely on a mission and the mission was accomplished!! Now if it was a set play Monahan's job is to distract the players, goalie while Hamilton came up the middle. This was kind of confirmed for me when I looked at the expression on Hamilton's face he seemed excited but didn't seem surprised.

I see where you got that impression from your observation.

You have to be more vocal, evidently the squeaky wheels do indeed get the grease.

Some problems take a great deal of insight. Helen Keller, "who was both blind and deaf" once said, "Blindness promotes understanding and deafness promotes isolation". From what I have read of her, I am amazed at what she could see and hear.
