I love to see the Oilers lose but the Sharks are starting to pull away with games at hand so if the Flames are going to get into the playoffs they need a team to stumble so the Kings winning really doesn't help the Flames.

I think any shot for a top 2 division spot is very unlikely unless there’s another epic winning streak. It’s going to be Calgary, Anaheim and San Jose battling it out for 3rd in the division and then add Minnesota, Dallas, Colorado and Chicago to that list, battling it out for the 2 wildcard spots.

Problem is that as I said the Sharks are pulling away with 3rd in the division and it's looking like the Flames only shot is a wildcard which means they will need to finish ahead of three of the Wild, Stars, Ducks, and Hawks which will be a tall task barring a few of them totally collapsing. They need to go on a prolonged streak of good play soon.
