Conroy should take him for a hike up Grouse Mountain and then say I'll be right back. Then he can disappear. Eventually he'll figure it out.
I wouldn't count on it.
I'm still waiting for GG to figure out that the current D-pairings haven't been working the past 7 games or so. Maybe it's time to try a change-up, or should he wait for a 10-game losing streak first?
During a first period intermission at the Montreal game tmmrw whilst Rogers Millions unexpectedly pulls GG aside for an impromptu unplanned on-air interview about the game.
BT and BB come up to him and hands him his suitcase/belongings...treliving hands him a business card " call Janet, she needs to know where to ship your sh*t, it's all packed up at the dome". Then Gelinas is announced the interim head coach for the remainder of the game.
Millions/Gelinas were in on this, however they both deny for years denies it. This incident will forever be known as the Montreal Screwjob and will be remembered for the day the man from Calgary got screwed by his boss in MTL.

Please no and not even Sutter. Cripes, Treliving has been converting the Flames to a Coyotes team. Next thing you know, it's a 20 year rebuild! If you haven't noticed already, with Sutter, his teams usually gets an immediate boost for like 2 years and you'll have to fire him before the team goes nowhere. With Tippet, his Coyotes team has gone nowhere and the type of hockey he coaches is definitely not anywhere near as entertaining as what we have now with the Flames.
My call: GG to be replaced jan 5 or earlier with Darryl Sutter.
Tippet makes more sense, if Sutter is hired and succeeds.. Treliving is gone, If Sutter fails he's still gone. Tippet is probably the only coach to save his bacon.

That doesn't make any sense.

Half expecting someone to suggest that if Vancouver opens up the scoring tonight, Jagr stands up behind the bench, wrestles the blazer off gulitzen, ceremoniously puts it on while pointing GG to the tunnel and proceeds to coach the team to a resounding 10-1 victory.

This is an honest question, why is Treliving gone if Sutter succeeds?
I don't want Sutter, retreads very rarely perform well. Tippett seems like the only other viable option or is there anyone else out there that would be available??
