I don't think the Flames deserved better, you miss 10 bell chances that's on the Flames.

Shootouts are objectively a terrible way to decide a hockey game, regardless of result.

Point against a good team with a good home record. Much better than two weeks ago. Every point counts

Johnny needs to get it going again as well. McDavid now 3rd in scoring after obliterating the best defensive team in the league. Hate hate hate hate McDingleberry. Flames need scoring help, very badly.

Bah! I thought we had it in the shootout after Johnny's rediculous goal. Give credit to Stalock for stopping both Tkachuk and Monahan -- I bet they had it scouted beforehand that both like to go high glove.
OT was frustrating -- just not able to click like we've seen so many times before. Take the point and move on I guess.

I do, win or lose shootouts are a stupid way to decide a team sport.

These games make me to have Byron or Granland back. Theses guys can pot a puck or two in the net every now and then. The current crew can hardly put anything in

Pretty good game for the Flames. Haven't lost in regulation for a while now.

There were games this year where we got points we didn't deserve. Frankly it all evens out in the end.

Personally I think Johnny's SO should not have counted and I wouldn't be opposed to a rule change making that sort of move against the rules

another game where the flames lacked some finish. its going to be tough, but I really think a trade to mix up the forward core might be whats best to solve that problem.

I vote for a 10 min 3 on 3 Overtime. Shoot out, horrible way to lose a game.

The PP wasn't good but they still should have won...how often are you gonna miss 3 or 4 empty netters

He set up our one goal and should have had another point on both wide open nets they missed tonight. He's not going to get 3 points every game. Odd take.

Lucky to have the point. I'll take it. Rypical Brent Sutter loss.

I hate that argument. The shootout is a legitimate way to decide games in international competition, I have no issue with the same in the NHL. Better than a game ending in a tie. Your just mad because we came out on the losing end of this one.
