PP1 needs a different look. Will it happen? Not likely. That said the talent is there to make something happen.

It just seems like 2 maybe 3 guys even touch the puck and rarely are there multiple shots or chances generated. Very forced.

Whip it around, fire some shots gets some rebound chances. Cameron pisses me off to no end.

It looked to me like Gio latched onto his stick for at least a few moments before they both went down. I think the hold is what caused the fall.

They did put Janko on the PP1.

Effort seems fine to me. More about offensive execution and decisions than actual effort

I don't like how they took back the both call (don't indicate it in the first place), but in the end it was the right call.
No it wasn't. Even Boeser just said they both should have went.

Boeser says he thought they'd both go off there.

Garbage officiating.

Meh, flames getting way too cute offensively. The top line trying to pass the puck into the net.

Gio deserved the penalty, it was just a dumb play on his part. No play, just dump it in.

Defensively like the game. Offensively, and the pp in particular, are pretty disappointing.

Fool's hope time!

Blame the refs or blame GG for not getting mad enough, but the reason that goal was scored was because Brodie decided to leave boeser open and go chase the puck. He's been much better he last couple games but being a great skater doesn't mean you don't have to play your position

That isn't what I heard.

He said he thought they both were going, and then said he felt he was held. I agree with him.

EDIT: Although, like I said, I don't like how they indicated both were going and then took the call back. People have a right to be upset about that. However, to me it was more of a hold by Gio than a hook by Boeser, so I don't have a huge issue with the call.

there is no way the game should swing over a reffing decision. flames had multiple odd man rushes and chances without a shot on net. canuncks scored 2 goals after generating 1 chance all night. terrible finish so far and very little composure. frustrating it happens seemingly every home game.

Jesus, his stick was held, while he was hauling Gio down. It was ridiculously obvious, even to Boeser.

Ya, how a pk gives up a 2 on 1 when you had decent position at the line is beyond me.

He also said it could have gone either way. Do you still agree?
