dude Rittich came in and literally handed them a goal within moments of coming in...a goal that wound up being pretty big
Oilers are going nowhere though, almost blow a 6-1 lead and your captain is cherry picking at center ice when its 6-5

Gio is Gio. Hamonic was fine this game. Stone/Kulak have been about as solid as you can expect a 3rd pairing to be. This team needs to get Brodie and Hamilton back on track if they want to be more than a playoff bubble team.
I wish Gullitzan would give the Brodie-Gio combo a try. That pairing was dominant in a way that Hamilton-Gio just isn't. I don't care about the L-L, R-R issue it causes in the top 4. Something needs to change.

Gio - Stone
Harmonic - Kulak
Hamilton - Brodie

Oilers are horrible.
I just have a hard time convincing myself the Flames are much better, at the moment.

You sit brodie next game. It's not going to happen, but it should. Time to start holding players accountable for poor play.

PUT HIM ON THE RIGHT SIDE.
Seriously Gulutzan, get your head out of your ass and give him a chance to be elite guy he was before. Enough of the lefty/righty BS. Talk about not putting your players in the best possible position to succeed. He looked like an all-star when Hartley had him on his off side.

I've been a GG supporter since the day he was hired. Yet slowly but surely he is forcing me to think otherwise. Another day, another game with the team not ready to play against their biggest rival. Another day, another game of the stupid damn LD/RD bull#### that isn't working.
I'm still of the belief that the Flames will still go on a big run and live up to their potential. But as for the franchise taking the next step and starting the ''sprint'' phase that will make us contenders? IMO it's not gonna happen with the coaching staff we have.
Shades of the 09-10 season with our ''best D in the league'' fluff.

I think they ought to trade Brodie for offence. Or at the very, very least ditch the Hamonic-Brodie combination. It's not working, plain and simple. Call me crazy but I have a hunch they'd be less leaky with Andersson in and Stone up on the second pairing. TJ has lost his mojo, whatever he had a couple years back.

Another loss to a an oilers team and people on here are actually sugar coating it because these over paid millionaires decided to play 10 minutes of hockey. Did they get your hopes up? Not me I know better. Something needs to change on this team soon. Or maybe we just aren't that good.

Brodie looked like an all-start too.
Whether we trade him or not, we should really play him on the right side with Gio. At least give him the opportunity to play well and drive up his value. of course we could just keep doing GG things.

Not sure what to say right now. I'm so disappointed. I'd be in favour of a Brodie trade or a Gulutzan firing at this point.

Agreed. At some point the players need to look in the mirror and examine the inconsistancy in their play. Their game is like a "yoyo" where it keeps going up and down from game to game. One night they look awesome only to shat the bed on the next night. It's inexcuseable the lack of mental focus that is showing in the way the players approach the game.

LMAO. Let's try that.
Giordano - Hamonic
Kulak - Stone
Wotherspoon - Andersson
Kylington
Yeah, that'd definitely be an improvement, especially under Head Coach Dave Cameron.

Yeah right.
GG rewards failure and gives shifts to his pals. Stajan and Brouwer should get more ice and so should Brodie
