At any rate, here's my thanks to the Wayne Harris and the Calgary Dinos for another entertaining season of university football.

Sucks to lose to Laval again but Dinos didn't do themselves a favour.

Offense: Dinos OLine was outmatched by Laval's defense. QB is not getting a lot of times in the pocket and constantly running for his life, then when he gets a chance to throw the ball receivers needs to catch the ball and not drop them. Running play is non-existant. Probably 80-90% of Dinos rushing yards were created by QB Sinagra.

Defense: Front Seven did a great job all game. Secondary brutal and gave up a lot of yardages. They can't seem to stop Laval's receivers. Way too many wide open receivers for Richard to throw to.

Special Team: The kicker DiFonti pretty much the only one shows up. Coverage made so many mistakes. Returner Leonard trying to play the way like in high school where he tries to go back and look for some opening. Problem he is not as fast or quick to get some openings.

Penalties and mistakes : Way too many mistakes and that really killed them.

Officiating: Wow, overall these guys are bad. There's lots of questionable calls today on both sides.

Wow, great start for Western. Chris Merchant (Calgary native) led his team to a major with a terrific 84 yard drive.

Would prefer if they just stick to doing penalty calls in just english. Takes too long to do both languages.

Western leads 15-zip with just over 5 minutes left in the 1st half.

It looked like he went through the head to me. Head to head contact was simulaneous with the shoulder contact. Maybe not an ejection but a well deserved penalty

Another fine drive by Western and they now lead 32-10 early in the 4th quarter.

That should be the dagger - Merchant runs it in from 11 yards out and the rout is on. 39-10 Western with just over 7 minutes left.

This is arguably the strongest team Gregg Marshall has ever had at Western. No suprise to me they destroyed Laval.
