Yay Flames win! This must have been the shortest game of the season. I left work to catch the end but caught the Caps post game instead. It looked like the Flames dominated after the first goal and the announcers were not happy with the Caps effort. Also, they called Monahan "elite" 
Exciting to see Gaudreau extending the point streak and being at 31 points after 20 games! When was the last time a Flame had a start like this? I'm thinking maybe Iginla in 2001.

Lol - Oiler fans only think players are good if: 1) They are drafted top 3 overall; 2) If they make massive amounts of money (6x6 minimum ). On-ice performance does NOT matter.

Didn’t get to watch most of this one so watched the condensed game. Smith is back to early season form. Made a bunch of great saves off high quality chances. Nice to have that kind of stability in net.

Tell me about it! I'm banned for the next month because HFOilers mods are so sensitive.
They once gave me a warning for liking a comment from an Oilers fan complaining about how bad the Oilers were doing compared to the Flames. I literally only liked the post but I guess the user's follow up of "Get out of here and stop liking my comments" was enough for the mods to get the message.
As for the game, amazing. Shaky first 5 minutes but overall we dominated for the most part. Hamonic and Brodie still look very uncomfortable out there though. Hopefully something changes in their games soon and we could have 3 excellent D pairings. They were pretty good tonight after the 1st goal but I know they have it in them to be an elite pairing.
Kulak is just fantastic in his role as a #6D.
