It's late, but I just want to say, I've been to three canucks home games so far, and they've lost them all. It feels good

Kings v Bruins. Horrid call at end. Kings down by one with less than 2 mins in game and ref calls jokinen for tripping but jokinen was laying on ice.

Just saw the replay. No way. 100% disagree. It wasn't a horrible call at all. Jokinen blows a tire as he's trying to keep the puck in the offensive zone, but accidentally trips Riley Nash as he flails his stick into Nash's feet and tries to prevent Nash from taking the puck away.
Jokinen clearly tripped the guy, even as accidental as it may be. I have no idea how that one can be considered a horrid call.

Just a week ago someone (casting doom on Calgary's season) was trumpeting how the Canucks "might be for real".
No chance. That is a very bad team that's had some unreal luck. They are going to finish in the bottom seven (and be bumped to 9ish in the draft).

Have to agree, but Boeser and Horvat are good players. If it wasn't the Canucks I'd have a bit of a soft spot for them.

True, but McDavid and Talbot are good players as well. Doesn't mean the Oilers aren't a tire fire.

Throw in the Stars and Predators both losing it was a great OOT in the western conf. as all teams mentioned lost in reg time. No 3 point games!

The Panthers with a surprise 2-0 road win over the Sharks. Luongo with the 35 save SHUTOUT. The Bruins win 2-1 in reg time with Chara scoring the GWG in the 2nd period and the Kings only getting 5 shots on net in the 3rd period.
It was 3-0 Nashville midway through the 2nd period and then the Wild decided to play and add in a nice 3rd period comeback by the Wild as they were down 4-2 and came back to win 6-4. Dubnyk's shutout streak ended 49 seconds into the game. Zucker keeps his goal scoring streak going. The strange thing with this game had the Predators scoring in the first minute of the 1st and 3rd periods and score a SHG. They should have had momentum to carry them to victory but they get outshot 15-4 in the 3rd period.
The Avs pound the Capitals 6-2. Landeskog with the hattrick, MacKinnon has 5 points, and Rantanen with 4 points. The Devils-Leafs game was an excellent performance of Andersen in the Leafs net as the Devils fired 42 shots and he gets the SHUTOUT. Nylander scores the OT winner with 3 seconds left.

Those guys are the show without a doubt and the Lightning crush the Stars 6-1. Ben Bishop's return to Tampa Bay was a disaster as he let in all 6 goals on 28 shots.

And the added benefit that after getting crushed 6-1 last night, the Stars next opponent is the Oilers. Hopefully they take their anger out on Mcwhathisnuts and his buddies!!

I recall last season they started off fairly well and went into the tank in the 2nd half of the season. I can't imagine anyone would have thought their decent start would carry for the season. I thought they would finish 30th so they are at least exceeding expectations.
