		| Calgary Flames fans don’t want to read this, but they’ve likely seen the last of Mark Jankowski for awhile.
Jaromir Jagr returned to the ice with the team Friday morning and is likely to come off injured reserve in time for Sunday’s home game against the Washington Capitals.

That means the happiest person in Canada Friday morning will almost certainly be one of the saddest Sunday as the 23-year-old centre who waited for five years to debut in front of the C of Red is heading back to Stockton.

Unless, of course, another injury crops up before then.

I would keep Janko up, andlet Freddie go. And rotate as needed. Troy Brouwer, Stajan and Glass to me should all be in and out of the lineup. They add little to nothing offensively.

I bet Jankowski is really regretting not walking away from the Flames and becoming a UFA.
While the Flames employ a 4th line that no doubt not a single player would make the roster of any team in the league, he gets sent down to the AHL and only gets his 6 minutes of ice time because of an injury to a 45 year old.

I would be pretty dissapointed if Janko got sent back down. He hasnt had a chance to even get settled in.
I think any of Hamilton, Glass or Stajan should be sent down. That being said no way Stajan gets sent down.

I'm beginning to think this team would be better off with Eat Bread + Janko + Hathaway in the NHL and some of the other older players being let go.

Tkachuk-Monahan-Gaudreau...toughness scoring skill Bennett-Backlund-Frolik...2 way game, maybe they can get something out of Bennett
Mangiapane-Jankowski-Jagr...2 of best AHL players with the legend
Ferland-Lazar-Hathaway-Brouwer...Play any of the 3 for energy, 6-7 minutes a game.

Versteeg / Hamilton / Stajan / Glass all waived.

I can handle this lineup losing then watching Glass falling over on a 2 on 1 or Stajan losing a battle against the boards to no one or Versteeg half-ass effort to nowhere or Hamilton being useless.

Also call up Kylington and waive Bartowski..Kulak as #7.

Bennett is a winger. Last night wasn't either's best game, but through three games, Jankowski is a centre, and Bennett is a winger. This much is certain.

Yeah, but how? I can’t remember - have Glass/F. Hamilton already cleared waivers?

If they haven’t, Jankowski is the only player who can be sent down as the Flames didn’t put anyone on waivers today.

If it were any other poster, I'd be convinced this was a joke account and you were intentionally posting insane troll comments in every thread you could just to see how quickly you could get the forum riled up and yourself banned.

Janko is probably glad that he got drafted, let alone has a chance to play in the NHL.

Not out of the weeds yet. Soon.

The embarrassing over reaction on this board by a vocal few, where the Flames record and average play enables their seeming justification for complete negativity 3 weeks into the season, is eased personally by the fact that the we have Jaromir fricken Jagr on the team.
