You're initial post was an embarrassment.

If you can't spend even 5 seconds researching the subject you are talking about, especially when you admit you have not been watching him play, why do you think you are adding anything by expressing your uninformed opinion?

Neimi has been horrible for at least the least 3 years.

It's hard to imagine any fan having missed that fact.

Don't care, let's lynch him anyways. Get our daily quota out of the way.

I didn't watch Niemi and I didn't know he was the one getting lit up. I based my opinion off Niemi's reputation and it makes sense the Flames should look to replace Lack since they have zero confidence in him.
You mean at all? Over the past 3 years?

It sounds as if they want to start Eddie next game.

Well most memes are context specific because of how it originated. In this case this was the guy who appeared on the History Channel and tends to attribute every inexplicable phenomenon as a result of extraterrestrial beings. So what made the meme funny was that people attributed anything that might be ambiguous as the result of aliens.

Lot of venom being tossed out in this thread but 5 seconds of research showed that aside from his abysmal season last year his two before that he was a fine 1b tender back then, on par with lehtonen each season statistically. Im certain a lot of folks would have preferred him to the hiller/ramo mess.

Being on a par with Lehtonen will get you out of the league in a hurry.

2 years ago that fine tandem had only one goalie in the entire league (assuming 40 games) with a lower save % than them.

Perhaps the teams style wasn't helping the goal-tending? Neither were sure fire #1's but those numbers still got them to a 109 point season and then dropped to 79 last season and actually gave up less goals.

Yes Niemi is probably done, guessing he doesn't have the mentality to be a actual backup goalie but lets not pretend Murray is doing much better either right now.

Just hoping this was enough research to be above the uninformed line

I want no part of Niemi and to be honest lack either but at-least he is a fantastic teammate and the room loves him but the way everyone jumped on Cro even after he acknowledged he may be incorrect was brutal. Seems lately everyone is on edge yet i thought things have started pretty well... boy i hope Janko doesn't disappoint.

Develop a thicker skin when you screw up. You're not the first and you certainly won't be the last to get jumped on for making a an uninformed comment.

I remember the day Schroeder got drafted right before Tom and all the canucks fans around me were going on about what a high skilled talent he was. I just realized that was 2009....now I feel old. Also how sweet would it have been if our 3rd rounder Ryan Howse had turned out. A sniper like "Junior Howse" on Monahan' s right side would be pretty perfect right now. I remember coming out of that draft being most exited about him.

Not sure if the Flames are lacking confidence in Lack. He is a backup goaltender and they are riding Mike Smith because he's hot right now. We are not talking about 1A, 1B goaltending here, we have a number 1 goalie and Lack is #2. Lack will get his chance and it might be as early this week.
