If ever there was a game that is destined by fate, this is the one. Vegas won’t be denied. Coyotes not playing great, and while I don’t think they are throwing in on purpose, I hazard a thought that in their heart of hearts, they don’t want to win this game for the bigger picture.

I can assure you they want to win the game...they are just a terrible team and now don't have Smith to keep it respectable.

I don't know about "most" of us. I'm always skeptical of making an older backup a starter. I'd prefer the established starter.
For the record, I wanted Ben Bishop badly, and if not him, M.A. Fleury. Both would have been just as good as Smith.
