African football is so weird. Algeria who took Germany to extra time in the 16s in 2014 will finish dead last in their qualifying group. Ghana are out as well.
Looks like Nigeria, Tunisia and Egypt are there, other 2 groups still up in the air. One group will be either Morocco or Ivory Coast, the last group (D) is a mess.

Still an outside chance for the Danes to win their group if Montenegro pulls the upset against Poland on the road.

Either way, one point at home against Romania gets them to the elimination round and they look to be playing well.

I think Bosnia losing today has knocked them out. They will be the worst of the 2nd place teams.

That pitch was a pretty good argument that field turf isn't the end of the world. Guessing players would much rather play on the rubber pellets than whatever that was.

Theres a reason FIFA stopped letting Colombia set their matches at 10,000ft.

That pitch in Sarajevo looked like it hadnt been maintained since the war.

^ apparently no ligament damage. Going to miss a couple of weeks though ... Matic and Herrera better stay healthy.
England have an insanely talented U17 ... completely dismantled Chile at the WC today. Jadon Sancho, Angel Gomes, Phil Foden, Ryan Sessegnon, Callum Hudson-Odoi - all of those are highly-rated and it's great to see such a talented age group.

It's gonna be even greater to see them lose a brutally heartbreaking penalty shootout at the 2026 World Cup.

Brazil will be put their strongest lineup on the field to possibly kick out Argentina from the World Cup, the rivalry has more hate than Flames/Oilers. I suspect you may see a couple changes like newly called up youngster Arthur in the midfield and they may throw Willian at RW to play Coutinho in midfield but that's it.

New poster to the football section, Die hard Brazillin football fan so hopefully I can make a solid contribution!

they strongest lineup beating Chile would help Argentina.

Brazillian fans want them to throw the game
