Play like this on Saturday and they're going to get pumped by Winnipeg

2016-17 NHL preseason.

Three best teams:
Col, 6-0-0
Det, 6-1-1
Ariz, 5-1-2

Two worst teams:
Ana, 2-4-1
Chi, 2-4-0

Spot the playoff teams.

That better be the last time Jankowski is out of the lineup.

Big concern I see from the game is our faceoff ability - I think that was why our pp was so bad... We couldn't get control off the draw.

Think about how much worse that would've been if there was an actual NHL lineup playing the Flames....

Well, that's a huge two points the Flames could miss out on Sat.

Is it gonna take Gio half the season to find his game again? Flames can't afford not to play Jankowski next week, only guy whose looked good for more than one game. It's pre-season but the same habits from past seasons are creeping in. Brouwer is a bum and it's time we all stop pretending he's gonna turn a magic switch on, should be on 4th line duties the entire year and never on the power play. If Jankowski doesn't start over Stajan/Brouwer/Lazar/Hamilton next week I would lose all hope in the coaching staff. Everyone's bringing it up because you know there's a good chance Janko gets sat for ####ing stajan

They didnt want to break a nail so they weren't exerting a lot of effort on draws. They will fix it next week.

Yeah, it's funny how often it doesn't work that way.

I'm happy they lost. Hopefully GG realizes just handing the vets an opening night spot on the roster isn't the way to go.

If the Flames play like that in the regular season, it will be an ugly October... again.

I agree. Hopefully he scratches Gaudreau, Monahan, and the entire top 4 for opening night against our hated rivals

At least Smith played decent. The first goal was one he should have saved, the 2nd was a fluke, and the 3rd goal was a breakaway because of tired defenseman. At least we had something positive out of this game.
