You can do it with 8 or 9 good players but the issue is always the people that start with their 1600 CP Snorlaxes and 1500 CP Donphans and expect people to carry them.

We had 11 for the first attempt, then we adjusted for Hydro pump, but A couple people didn't have enough potions so we were only 9 for the second attempt. Had we had the full 11 the second time, we might just have been able to do it.

We should have checked what it had before the main attempt (really, it autoselecting Chanseys tell us that it has Hydro pump), and then put all of our chanseys in just to faint them before our main attempt.

The first attempt, I was using my 12th pokemon when time expired. With the adjustments - I think I was only in about 9 on the second attempt.

Today we managed to take down the Hydro Pump Lugia with 10 players. 4 seconds remaining. Couldn't catch him again though.

2 days in Puerto Vallarta, no corsola or heracross ☹️

Managed to catch a 1902 Zapdos and a 2050 Lugia yesterday, and had a 2082 Tyrannitar run on me. Would've been a hell of a day for raids if I managed to get that Ttar, but it's still a fantastic day with the perfect Zapdos and near perfect Lugia.

Since I hit level 36 I definitely haven't played as much lately. Mostly just daily spins & catches and then if there's a raid near me and I have time I'll run over. Staples had a 15% off sale on iTunes gift cards this past week though, so I loaded my account up with coins for the next event.

Hope you guys weren't tired of raiding, because the legendary dogs are coming out starting today! They region exclusive (we get Raikou first), but change locations every month.

Further to the above, exclusive (EX) raid passes will be slowly rolled out for exclusive raids, with the raids starting in select locations as early as Sept 6.
Not entirely sure what that means, except that it seems they will test new EX raid system on small scale, which is probably a good idea.

Raikou tip: if you release the curve ball at the point where Raikou's front feet hit the ground during attack pounce, you will hit him every time.
He still doesn't like bring caught though...
