Parent sponsorship is terrible policy. You get people after their prime earning years and into their high cost years. And it doesn't help our demographics either.
I've heard both ways
Pros:
1) parents not being here makes people unhappy
2) always having to go home and visit parents instead of them being right here
3) parents can watch grandkids allowing moms to work
Cons:
1) cannot work
2) OAS
3) only spend 6 months in Canada abusing the system

I've resisted until now, but Trump is Lionel Hutz (the lawyer/realtor)
I'm surprised I can't find a twitter hashtag for something like #faketrumpcalls yet. Calls from famous people to Trump that are impossible.
Ex.
Neil Armstrong just called me to congratulate me on my grand plan for a mission to Mars. #faketrumpcalls
Queen Veronica just called to congratulate me on discovering gravity. Told her it hit me as I was inventing universal healthcare. #faketrumpcalls also #crookedhillary
Location: Wondering when # became hashtag and not a number sign.

Here is an interesting question for you (I hope): you have the deciding vote in the next Alberta election and there are two parties running: (a) Notley's NDP; and (b) Trump's Republicans. Who gets your vote?

I'm sure this will finally be what makes him lose support!
The thing is it does appear there are cracks in the cult. For instance Trump's favorite poll, Rasmussen, now has him at 38% approval. Why does that matter? Because Obama got to 38% or worse in Rasmussen....never. Not once. Zip. Zero. Rien. Nein. Nada. Zilch. It's easily the most right leaning poll (that's taken somewhat seriously), and Trump has gotten lower than Obama ever did. And it must be remembered that Presidents usually go south in the approvals more in year two than year one. Doesn't really seem like there's much that will bump him up, and there's obviously more to drag him down. He's basically in need of a terrorist attack to help his numbers, like W. was back in 2001 when his numbers were trending poorly.

Kushner Cos., the New York property development business owned by the family of White House senior adviser Jared Kushner, has been subpoenaed by New York federal prosecutors regarding its use of an investment-for-immigration program, according to people familiar with the matter.
The subpoena concerns at least one Jersey City, N.J., development financed in part by a federal visa program known as EB-5: twin, 66-floor commercial-and-residential towers called One Journal Square, said a person familiar with the subpoena.
A spokesman for the Brooklyn U.S. attorney’s office, which issued the subpoena, declined to comment. The Kushner Cos. general counsel, Emily Wolf, said in a statement that “Kushner Companies utilized the program, fully complied with its rules and regulations and did nothing improper. We are cooperating with legal requests for information.”
The subpoena, received by the company in May, was a document request that included a demand for emails, according to a person familiar with it.
It isn’t clear what potential violations are being probed by the U.S. attorney.
In early May, the company drew attention for a marketing campaign in Beijing and Shanghai that solicited Chinese investors for One Journal Square, saying that up to 300 individuals who put $500,000 each into the project could be eligible for green cards under the EB-5 program, according to marketing materials reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.
The EB-5 program, which offers green cards to aspiring immigrants who invest at least $500,000 in certain U.S. businesses that have been determined to create at least 10 jobs per investor, has been at the center of debate in Washington. Critic say the program is being used to boost wealthier areas of the country instead of aiding poorer ones as intended.
A green card permits a foreign national to live and work in the U.S. indefinitely. The majority of EB-5 visas go to wealthy Chinese individuals.

I love the White House, one of the most beautiful buildings (homes) I have ever seen. But Fake News said I called it a dump - TOTALLY UNTRUE
Golf Magazine is now considered 'fake news' by the POTUS.

The entire golf industry sucks up to Trump. PGA Tour golfers and especially Champions Tour players overwhelmingly support the orange stain. I love playing golf but I'm really beginning to despise pro golfers as people. The ugliness of their politics is embodied by Trump, who is ruining my enjoyment of yet another spectator sport.

I think it makes perfect sense that white privilege golfers are Republicans. They have been donating to the GOP for years.

Trump is the gift that keeps on giving for (unpopular/incompetent/every) politician the world over.
"See, I'm not as bad as that guy! You should be thankful"
I know Trump must read all the best books but perhaps he should pick up a history book at some point if he thinks this is an all time low for the relationship with Russia.
