It must be both stressful and exciting for him. A look at CGY depth chart would show him a skilled RW is in demand. He will get opportunity here. I think The Flames do a good job of staying in contact with dev camp invites.

It has also been noted that he has been about as right as he has been wrong on his reports:

And he may have been right about the return for Hamonic insofar as it was the ask from the Isles - just to not what was ultimately agreed to.

Looking at his timeline, it seems like he has a connection with an agent or someone working at agency. He gets some tidbits, and shares them. I don't look at his information as reliable, but as "chatter" that might be happening.

After many insiders speculated a deal with Russell was expected shortly at 4 years @ $4M, he said it'd come in at 4 years @ $4.5M with a full NMC. So credit for guessing 4 years like everyone was reporting??
As for Hamonic, after it was known the Flames were one of the front-runners, he speculated Bennett and a first. It was widely reported the ask was 2 first rounders so it's not much of a stretch to guess a package like that.
Sure, maybe he's connected and parameters around deals and trades change last second...but he has shown any inside info yet. Add in the fact that he's speculating Wideman and Iginla to Edmonton and it seems like he's just trying to make a name for himself by suggesting things that will get people to follow him.

It's been reported that Snow actually did ask for Bennett and a first, so it's a point in his favour that he knew about that.
