He's such a man of integrity and honesty. Its not even a contest if it comes down to trusting him over Trumpster.

That's not a particularly impressive bar to clear.

Rubio bringing up connections to the Clintons.
Wyden getting on the record that Trumps request being granted would have resulted in the dropping of a criminal investigation.

I almost feel bad for Rubio.

Comey - who clearly didn't sleep a wink last night - is holding up very well. Articulating his position much better than last go around. That written statement seems to have stapled his questioners down. A very important move for him.

Weren't people saying the opposite about him during the election campaign? Not picking on you Thor, but during the election, people were hoping that the first move that President Clinton would do is firing Comey.

Republicans are all attacking Comey on how he should have handled President's conduct and how he did it poorly vs. presidents actions. Slimy has hell.
Also Comey just said he had directly reported Trumps behaviour to Sessions but Sessions did nothing.

Yeah, that's a fair comment. Conversely up until Trump fired him Republicans seemed a-ok with Comey... Partisanship, it's a hell of a drug.

That being said Comey's word vs. Trump's word. Still not much of a contest. I think you can likely sum up Comey as an honest but politically obtuse operator.

That last question from Senator Blunt was an epic fail. Trying to discredit Comey for leaking details of a conversation through a third party instead of himself... As if it somehow changes the content? Embarrassing line of questioning for the GOP.

It'll play great with their base. They've spent a lot of time selling that leaks = treason and anonymous sources = fake news to people, and it's deeply ingrained now.
