Well, those videos were posted over a day ago and no one made any such allegations. You're tilting at windmills.
Incidentally, it appears that, following the release of those documentary programs, police investigated and submitted their file to the Crown Prosecution Service for an opinion. CPS concluded that there was no reasonable prospect of criminal conviction. Apparently CPS also issued a statement in which it criticized the programs for misleading editing of lengthy statements which distorted their meaning.
EDIT: Whoops, Pepsi already responded. Never mind.

Speaking of misleading editorializing, you failed to mention that Channel 4 then sued the CPS for libel for issuing that critique, and won. This took literally three seconds via google to figure out.

Astonishingly, the police then asked the CPS to consider whether a prosecution could be brought against Channel 4 for broadcasting a programme including material likely to stir up racial hatred. When that was ruled out, the police and the CPS reported the programme makers to Ofcom, the TV regulator, alleging "complete distortion" in the way the programme had been edited.
Undercover Mosque became embroiled in the wider "fake TV" controversy before Ofcom concluded it was "a legitimate investigation, uncovering matters of important public interest".
Now, because they refused to withdraw their allegations, the police and the CPS - in other words, the taxpayer - have been required to pay a six-figure sum in libel damages to compensate Dispatches. It is a welcome vindication for Channel 4 at the conclusion of a very sorry episode.

Given how easily this was tracked down, it has to be asked: was your decision to omit this from your post a deliberate tactic on your part?

Honestly, just lazily stopped reading the wiki article halfway through (on my phone). Not a conscious decision. However, I'm left asking myself whether I stopped reading once I had "found what I was looking for" (something that confirmed what I hoped to be true.) Certainly is possible (even likely). Interesting. Thanks for pointing it out.

I think that sometimes it's beneficial to dumb complicated topics down to a point where everyone can at least understand the base level of discussion.
Like, I get that the whole "terrorist" thing is extremely complicated, when you boil everything else away, I really think the basis of everything is that ISIS is to Islam what the KKK is to Christianity.
This is how I explain things to people. When someone complains about a burqa, I ask them if people shouldn't be allowed to wear crucifixes because of the Klan. An oversimplification, for sure, but at least it's effective.
Sometimes things get so complicated that people lose track of the basis. If we can bust up the Klan without banning Christianity or punishing Christians, why can't we bust up ISIS without banning Islam or punishing Muslims?
(Personally, I think there's some correlation between "Klan-think" and the examples of irrational hatred we see directed at Muslims in the news, and I think that's the starting point for any kind of meaningful resolution, but that's also where the complexities begin.)

It's being covered in the sources I go to. At least in the news section - not nearly as much commentary and personal stories as we got with the Manchester attack, but that's probably unavoidable.
I'm also seeing coverage of the rampages in the Philippines. More reminders that this isn't an Islam versus the West conflict, but radical Islam vs everyone else.

I hope this isn't taken as patronizing or anything, but I just want to point out how totally disarming this response is to my original question about whether you'd intentionally omitted relevant information. If anyone was looking for an example on here of a way to respond to a challenge to one's credibility that not only completely rehabilitates it, but actually increases it, this should be exhibit "A".

I try not to read much of the fighting in the thread so this may have already been posted, but Beibs, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Pharrel and more will be at the benefit from the Manchester show.
All proceeds from the concert go to the survivors and victims' families.

Good for all of them for participating.

Not patronizing at all. Appreciate your kind words.
Believe it or not, this is not the first time that I've been wrong. When it happens (more frequently than I would like), I try to at least learn something from it.

This is unequivocally a good thing. It's great to see people with influence and fans come together in support.
But my gosh does it make you wonder if they even know about the bombings in Kabul and Baghdad mere days later, or the cold blooded execution of those poor Egyptian Christians. Who's trying to help them? God?

Egyptians, Iraqis...
Doesn't mean we couldn't do more, but they do a lot of good work there actually. Even benefit concerts, it's just artists we've never heard of

Rock am Ring festival evacuated in Germany over terror alert
Quote:
Fans hoping to see German rock giants Rammstein streamed out of the Nuerburg arena after organisers asked them to leave in a "calm and controlled" way.
"Due to a terrorist threat the police have advised us to interrupt the festival," they said.
Police in the nearby city of Koblenz said in a statement (in German) the festival had been halted "due to concrete indications of a possible terrorist threat".
