Just when you think they might have changed, Oilers are still going to Oilers.
This.

4:30 left, and could deal with the constant 'ya Oilers' texts, from people I should really block, so I went to bed.

Oilers gotta Oil I guess...

Where are our boys Ruttiger/Oil Fan/Stang/Weitz at?!?

Now is the time to earn yourself real brownie points around here.

Not that any of us have to justify or prove ourselves to you, but I went to bed right after.

Had a bad feeling when Anaheim got the first one with so much time left. Should never have been in position where the refs were allowed to blow the call on the third goal. But they were and the refs did. Of course it was Kessler holding the pad, and of course it was Perry who scored the winner.

We may not all agree on much, but I think it's safe to say the Ducks are an infuriating team to play.

The Oilers may win game 6 but I don't believe they'll win the series. Regardless, Nashville is coming out of the west.

Honestly, at the end of it all, it really is just fun to have hockey to care about past October for the first time in a decade.

That tying goal was as clean as many of Ryan Smyth's goals.

I got lucky and just got home from work and flipped on the tv after the 2nd Ducks goal. Great ending to the game.

As for the goal, it's Kesler. Of course it was intentional! Any kind of 50/50 play involving Kesler, add another 30% to the intentional side. There's no way I'm going to try to defend Keslers innocence, we all know better.

But it made it almost more enjoyable watching that kind of collapse and getting screwed by the Ducks. It was almost like game 4 vs. the Flames but their goaltending didn't fall apart, it was the whole team.

Could call Kesler there but dmen need to stop pushing guys into their own goalies.

Nurse did it to two Ducks on that play and it's what caused all the commotion in front.

One piece of credit that organization does deserve is Talbot. Guy is great, you know you're getting shelled when you give up 4 goals and still have a .938 save percentage.

I am still living up to my decision not to watch the Greaser games until they stop slobbering over McJesus. But I just turned on the TV to see TSN give Connor the Man of Stihl award for his 5 on 3 goal because he was able to get free of coverage. Hahahahahahaha!!!!!! I might have to watch the highlights - muted of course - to see this record breaking, spectacular pooping of the pants by the Oilers. Talbot stopped 60 shots!!!!! Poor guy. Zero support.

Just saw the highlights. Beautiful. Sniff. Sniff. The winning goal looked almost like a "this guy scored" moment. Yeh, I know it was Kesler on the tying goal but Nurse was not helping at all continuing to push him. And really, allowing 60+ shots is not a recipe for a win so stop whining and play some defense.

David Staples‏@dstaples

Can't wait for Sunday's game.
Can the @NHL referees steal three wins in a row?

I would not bet against them. They have all the answers.

Had a Super Bowl flashback last night. Saw the score was 3-0 and thought "don't be surprised if they manage to come back". An hour later I see that it's 3-3 in overtime. Happy to see the Anaheim win this morning -- there isn't a better way to start a morning The Lucic/Oiler salt on the 3-3 goal is just a bonus

What i dont get about the teeth gnashing by the media and oiler fans is this...

That 3rd goal probably should not have counted, and i dont think its really debateable. The rub, however, is that the 3rd goal should have never been needed to tie, because the Oilers 3rd goal should never ever of been allowed to occur after Perry took a whack right across the face which set up the Caggiula marker.

For some reason everyone focuses strictly on the last Duck goal because it happened in the last minute. It was merely a goal that countered another one that should never ever have been allowed.

SN360 is showing the replay of last night's game - At 3:34 left in the 3rd period, Craig Simpson says "You just get the feeling that Talbot is going to shut the door".

Edit: lol - What GioforPM said above
