If you put the Canucks aside at least they won 1 game . That 2015 was a much worse then this current team

To be fair this team never looked like yhey could win this series either. You can say all you like like they could have but you gotta at least win 1 out of 7.

I don't think Johnson leads this team to 4 straight wins even if he had started this game.
Bottom line, Elliott defecated the bed when his team needed him to make some key saves, and he cost the team a chance to get back into the series.
Gulutzan couldn't get the most out of his players in the rs nor in the playoffs. That's why this team stumbled to a 7th place finish in the conference and got a terrible matchup in the first round, and it's why the Flames are the first team to be bounced from the playoffs this year.
Elliott was shaky the entire game 3. You could tell from the first shot he was fighting the puck. He should have been pulled after the second goal. Gulutzan not doing that probably cost us the series (outside of Elliott's performance). Anaheim wasted no time pulling Gibson.

This team sucks.

Two glaring holes to fill: 1st line RW AND starting goalie. Not sure how Treliving will do it this off-season but it needs to happen.

Also, I acknowledge he's a rookie, but Tkachuk's playoff performance was pretty disappointing.

Flames brass neutered Tkachuk after the LA game and removed his edge from the lineup.

Core players took turns having brain cramps.

It's the biggest banner in the place - can't figure that out. It needs to be vastly reduced in size and hidden in a dark corner.

They played well in stretches of games but never long enough to get a win. Mental lapses. Really that is inexcusable. Most of the players have playoff experience.

Ducks missing two top D and Calgary doesn't just pound them? One game they made it hard on Bieksa and crew. Hard to understand.

Utterly disappointing.

This almost Marc Savard like. You will totally regret it when Gaudreau is gone!
So... you didn't watch him turn over the puck three times in the last minute. The hate is pretty justified, he had an awful series. And a pretty horrid season.

Nobody is calling for a trade, but there are certainly reasons to be disappointed.

Monahan had a great Series. Also thought Bennett played really well. I'm hoping we bring back Versteeg on a 1 or 2 year cheap contract.

For the rest of the playoffs, Go Caps!

Versteeg had some questionable moments tonight, but he was one of the few players in the series who looked like he'd been there before.

I'd welcome him back in a 3rd line role on a good deal.

Brouwer on the other hand. Ugh.

I think Johnny will look back at this season and not be happy with himself.

He needs to come back next year and earn that contract. He wasn't terrible, but it was a tough year for him at times.

Crappy to end like this but very proud of the fans who didn't quit on the team who stood for thevlast 5 mins and cheered the team off the ice.

Did you just black out from the epic disappointment that was last year? 2015 was a miracle in every way, including the one W against the Ducks in the playoffs.

I'd rather play 4 games where we actually hang with our biggest competition and lose than play 5 and win just one out of pure luck.

If Gulutzan had 2015 Ramo we'd probably be up 3-1. But sure, missing the playoffs under Hartley was amazing. So sad we can't do that again.

Can't blame the sweep just on goaltending. Flames scored 2 even-strength goals in 4 games. Against a team missing its #1 and #3 d-men.
