The Flames need to keep the D activated regardless that they are no longer down by two. Anaheim's D is terrible and it overwhelms them.

Agreed. It was clear last game that his time was done with this team. He had no business starting tonight.

Ducks are going to sweep us with their top 2 dmen injured. this is an embarrassment. we should be the ones sweeping them.

Might be easier for Gio and Brodie not to bobble the puck if they're getting some soft shifts against Anaheim's fourth line and own third pair...since ya know... Anaheim is not the team on the verge of elimination.

Most of the time I have no idea what Garrett is talking about, it's like he is watching a different game.

The people in the first period saying they weren't trying and didn't care. Hard to do anything creatively or take any chances when you know every mistake going the other way is ending up in the net.

There's no way Elliott should have stated this game.

Johnson was the obvious option. Not the ideal option, I'll give you that. But far, far better than putting Elliott back in.

It's his job to know which goalie is better prepared. Clearly he made the wrong choice, a mistake that is currently costing us the game.

The other guy came in and also let in a goal on his first shot.

I should retract my statement. I believe it's Sigalet who makes that recommendation to the coaching staff, but yes Gulutzan has the final decision.

Then let them lose the game for us. These two should be splitting icetime rest of way.

Flames continuing to get worked in the 3rd, still pitching a shutout in 3rd periods.

What is so stupid about it is 5 minutes after the game.is over we will all be able to look at the actual numbers and see for ourselves.

It's freaking crickets in the Gulutzan thread in case anyone wants to talk about ice time.
