I think we'll see a Jersey or two on the ice before games end on Wed.

I wonder how the crowd will be tomorrow? The Dome was rocking last night but I suspect a let down with the Flames facing a sweep.

Tomorrow might be a let down but dont worry game 6 will be rocking and game 3 against the Oilers will be off the charts

None of us like the result we are getting, but at least show that you watch the games and associate the appropriate reasons with why we are down. It has nothing to do with a lack of heart or resolve........................
Blowing a 4-1 lead has nothing to do with the lack of resolve?

Right it was all Elliot and the Refs.

I don't know what else you say about a team that clearly has the talent to compete with the best but have only won 6 games since their winning streak ended 16 games ago.

Being on the losing end of all of these close games is exactly what a lack of resolve is.

The thing is - even when we faltered, we still do not give up good scoring chances. As Gully put it, we weren't under siege.

We didn't fold. We gave the Ducks next to nothing of quality, and they still scored 4 straight.

I don't get why people want to blow this up into something that it's not. The Flames dominated, and the Flames lost because of goaltending.

It's staring everyone right in the face, and for whatever reason people are trying to create a problem that doesn't exist.

Goaltending can be fixed. No half measures. Get a top tier goalie. If we had one right now, we'd be up in this series 2-1 if not 3-0.

Flames blew a 4-1 lead. Yeppers. They played terrible and should be embarrassed top to bottom.

They were thoroughly dominated.

Yeap, the Flames lack any resolve because they got completely outplayed in that game and should not have let Anaheim fire off any floaters from the point or half wall. They should have expected those to go in. What were they thinking?

My apologies, your post just made it clear. Maybe you are actually watching the games, but you just don't understand it very well, forcing you to boil down explanations of results to very simplistic things you can understand.

If you try, you will win. We didn't win, so there must have been a lack of try. It can't possibly more complex than that can it?

BS man. Total BS.

That's the definition of folding up like a cheap tent.

Letting floaters from the point or half wall is what good teams with resolve never let happen.

Hope they can do it unfortunately i have decided to boycott every game the flames play against the ducks until the curse has been ended i can't watch that garbage team beat us every freaking time due to crappy bounces, missed calls, NHL not following their own rules. Last night was the last straw.

I can't do it, it would be too much disappointment.

I just expect them to be blown out tomorrow. If we actually win, I'd be marginally happy.

I wouldn't say it was rocking. Compared to past playoff games I've attended it was rather tame.

My prediction for the series was the Flames had to split the first 2 games in Anaheim to have a chance. If not they would probably split the wins in Calgary and then lose the series on game 5. The frustration part though is the games have been so close and either team could have won any of the games...yet we are down 3-0.

reˇsolve: firm determination to do something.

Team got outshot and out chanced in the 3rd. Couldn't keep the pressure up. Let Corey Perry distract the entire team and yes, Elliot (who is part of the team) also fell apart.

That is the definition of lack or resolve, you condescending ####.

What?? You let those shots go all day long happily and deny the golden opportunities because NHL starters should practically be able to save those easy shots sleepwalking.

I have a theory on this comeback,

The Flames WILL win game 4 tomorrow night at the Dome. They will likely lose game 5 in Anaheim, I'm talking like a 10% chance of winning.

BUT, if they do somehow win game 5 and break that curse then they will come all the way back and win the series in 7 games.

they allowed 9 shots in the third and OT and 3 went in

very few actual scoring chances

They lost on bad goal tending
