We need a quick goal to win it, because I doubt Elliott can make 6 more saves.

First time since April 10 1985 that 4 games gone to OT.

All 4 games tonight...one team had a 2 goal lead.

Unreal.

It just seems totally pointless.

I'm impressed with the Flames discipline actually, and hope they can keep it up. No matter what they do, the breaks always seem to go the Ducks way. It's so frustrating to watch, as Anaheim's play just doesn't merit these results, over and over again.
It bothers me that they can play 20-30 minutes and snag victories from us. Doesn't help that the toss up calls land in their favour on what has seemed like the vast majority of occasions to aid them as well.

Yup, good post and agreed completely.

In all fairness that call was complete BS, however they did get rattled and the Ducks turned it up.

When you depend on a younger core, getting rattled is going to happen. When a veteran team like the ducks gets a crack they blow it open and take advantage of it.

Of course I'm angry with the high stick goal. But at the end of the day, you have to take control of your destiny in the playoffs and the Flames didn't do that.
Agreed. And Elliot has been pretty brutal tonight. I really thought he would lock it down after the 2nd Ducks goal, but he's been pretty shaky in this period, especially on that 4th goal.

Flames just need regroup and settle themselves down during the intermission. They've been the better team for 50 minutes tonight, and they can still win this as long as they smarten up and keep throwing pucks on net. And dammit, they need to use their speed to their advantage. After the 4-3 goal they started to play too tentative and it cost them.

I believe that the RULE is the players shoulders, not the crossbar. Still... it was a high stick and should not have counted. The Flames have no chance when the league is against them. Also, I love Wendy Mesley.

That has got to be one of the biggest choke jobs by Elliott, plays lights out since January and decides to forget how to track the puck in the playoffs. He obviously does not have nerves of steel, he's not the guy I would trust moving forward

The Flames will win in OT and we will see the return of the Dougie post-interview photobomb.

We still gonna blame this on the refs? lol.

Johnny isn't a franchise player. We need a "best player". Artfully big gap to fill.

Ducks OT winner coming up. Flames have no composure and can't handle the pressure, either with poor play or dumb penalties. Ducks in 5 games.

The only thing the NHL has confirmed is that they have an agenda to put the Ducks through. Twice it was an easy call for the war room in this series and both times they blew it.

How does that work?

Chara in front is allowed to tip a foot higher than anybody else?
