After the first goal I told my wife I didn't have any confidence in Elliot tonight. Even when they had the big lead he was super shaky

The ones whose third pair is a liability historically have. 2015 Blaclhawks went all the way playing four guys.

flames can't play on their heels like they did in the bottom half of the third...

ice was tilted to our net... Elliott's soft play did not help, but it was shocking how badly the ducks out controlled us in our own zone at even strength

I've got Tkachuk scoring in OT. It's gonna be a greasy in close goal.

The season comes down to who scores the next goal. I'm worried Flames will have zero confidence in their keeper.

High stick goal call was brutal, set the stage for the end of the third. When you have been on the wrong end of officiating all season it becomes mentally debilitating at some point. Really hope flames can push through and regroup here.

You can't let the other team come back when leading 4-1 late in the second.

Experienced teams like the Ducks will have something positive to build on for game 4 even if they lose.

The third goal shouldn't have counted but the Flames need to be mentally tougher not to let the game slip out of control. A break went against you so double down your intensity. They didn't change anything, they just played the exact same way and allowed Anaheim to tie it up. They started playing again near the end of the period when the game was already tied up. Sitting back on the lead is a way to make that lead disappear like an illusion.

Edit: Elliott has to play better, he needs to make the saves but the entire Flames team has been flat since Gibson was pulled, Bernier has had to make a handful of saves, none of them memorable. He comes into the game cold and isn't tested. There were no bodies crashing the net or getting in his way. Just poor all around from the team, but they are still young and this is a learning opportunity going forth.

if the ducks win, I just hope no one sitting in the first row gives the guy the finger.

All the baloney I've put up with as a Flames fan. I deserve this win. I've earned it. I really want some cosmic justice to go in.

Gaudreau shoots the puck off Kesler AND Bieksa's face then in.

Honestly Elliott has let in three horrific goals tonight.

Flubs on an easy 20ft wrister from the corner

Kicks the puck the Ritchie in the slot for an easy tap in

And then misses a routine shot from the point with no deflection. Rough night.

It makes the winning in OT taste a lot better for the Flames.

I was very nervous in regulation, to a point that I didn't say a word or scream. But I believe this team can do it with some guts and killer instinct. We will control our destiny.

Go Flames Go!!
