Book Mark this:
Oilers will win this series and have and easy road to the Stanley Cup Finals.
Chicago Out.
Wild Out.
Flames Out.

Oiler speed and talent is too much for Washington.

Oh I will lol

Oilers had 4 shots in the third and we're gifted the game winner. They are playing even with what was the worst team down the stretch

Haha, what's the point? You guys are a little on edge these days.

Im not on edge. We have played the ducks pretty even the past 2 games all without the benefit of even one #1 overall draft pick.

The 2 organizations are pretty different in their paths to the 2017 playoffs. The Flames have had to work their sacks offs on the ice and the organization has had to show some modicum of skill in the drafting department to get to the playoffs. Your organization has used "the building a team based on blind luck" approach to get to where it is.

Good for you guys but if you can't admit that your team is only where it is now because you disgraced the entire sport of hockey for a decade and then got extremely lucky, then having a conversation with you is futile. If you're arrogant enough to think the Oiler organization "earned" where it's at now then you're not very intelligent.

So? The Sharks only had 6 shots, three in the last 2 min. Sharks are no good, but that was a solid road game for the Oilers. Hate to admit that a win like that impresses me more than when they hitch their horse to the McDavid track meet.

Once the Oilers survived the first 10 minutes, I was resigned to them taking that game.

So even if the Hawks, Wild and Flames lose, I feel like you're forgetting someone here.

Ahhh no they are playing a hot goalie as long as they can control McDavid. I don't see the Oilers getting past Flames Ducks Preds Hawks or Blues. They are lucky to be playing the Sharks.

they still might not get past the Sharks. For sure will be 2-2 going back to Edmonton.

Credit where it is due. They have played well since what might have been first game jitters.
Hopefully the Sharks push back harder from here on.

I understand you hate the Oilers (as do pretty much all the Flames fans on here) but I love how you can't give them any credit (unlike a lot of other Flames fans on this board). Sharks were being outshot 4-3 in the 3rd until very late when they pulled the goalie. It was a defensive minded game.

You make it seem like San Jose is a poor team. They are the defending Western Conference Champions and still managed 99 points this season. Only a handful of points from 1st in the Pacific.

Burns, Pavelski, Couture, Marleau, Thornton, Vlasic, Hertl....they still have a lot of firepower up front. Edmonton was outplayed in game 1 and Talbot kept it close. After that (in games 2 and 3), the Oilers have played solid defensively in their own zone. The 3rd pairing makes it interesting at times but the top 4 has been rock solid. No matter what happens this series or beyond, the Oilers are an improved team. You make it seem like they got into the playoffs with luck and they are only winning the series because San Jose isn't a good team when they are.
