Also I doubt they were mic'd, it sounds more like they'd taken their headsets off and they were just still live because someone forgot to turn them off.

I recall back in the day when all games weren't broadcast so we had other teams feeds if you had to watch st the bar. Between breaks the Dallas commentators were chatting about where they were going after and making comments about the ladies the cameraman were panning the crowd to find at the Saddledome.

Anyways certainly doesn't seem like a media member, as they would be downstairs, so as I said before, probably a technician up in the booth to disconnect the computers and mics etc.

I still don't see how that Hamilton hold was any worse than Lindholm bearhugging Chiasson's stick, or Montour grappling Gio's stick with his legs making him go to the bench and get a new one.

And if your response is that they let Lindholm's go because of Chiasson roughing him up... He wouldn't have even been in that scenario had he been able to pick up his stick and resume play.

I can see why some people don't like Hamilton. He's big but doesn't hit hard and he's prone to some d-zone giveaways every now and then. He is not perfect.

However, there is no defenseman younger than him that is helps their team win more than he does. Dougie is unreal good and nobody seems to appreciate it because he's not the next Lidstrom, Karlsson, or Orr.

No wonder players don't like to play in Canadian markets.

Yah, Ball and Garrett just kind of agreed about the dumb plays, but they didn't rip on any of the players personally. It was the third guy who did. Could very well be just some random fan ran into them and decided to talk about the game. Doesn't really sound like anyone in the media that covers the Flames games.
