For me, I think that if the Flames win game 1, they stand a good chance to win the series. They will have removed the bs with the curse off the table and they will be more confident in themselves.

If they lose, or get blown out, I think it'll be a 2015 repeat.

I think you're right. Game 1 is what it comes down to. It may not be the end, of we lose, but it would work wonders for this team if we won.

I was watching the ducks/ Flames series from the 2015 playoffs.... man were we badddd.

I noticed Maroon was a big factor in that series so glad he's gone but damn I really want redemption against those punks.

And this is why I am sufficiently convinced that this series will not be short. Even if the Flames don't win, the Ducks will not be able to run them out of the building like they did in 2015.

I think he meant more along the lines of guys on the Ducks looking to fight Gio, which takes him out of the game for5 minutes at a time. That would be detrimental to the Flames and I hope he doesn't drop the gloves and others come in to help him. Although when push comes to shove, Gio won't back down.

Watched the Sportsnet preview last night. David Amber is winning me over with his love for the Flames. He called them to lose in the finals to the Caps and will likely be the only Sportsnet/TSN host/panalist to have Calgary winning the West

Gio answered the bell already. If they Ducks want to fight him again they can go pound sand (unless it's Kesler or Perry).

I don't actually mind Garrett so long as the Canucks are not involved, but this is a strange description.

I am being serious! You see Remenda's calls and he'll be so off base, then he won't even correct himself or double down on his errors. Garrett may have some Vancouver stink on him, but he's got a great eye and he'll pick up on quite a bit of stuff before they even get to the replay. That's the part I like about him.

Not that comparing these two should normally hold any value - I just think once the series gets going you'll come to appreciate Garrett a bit more

Quite frankly anybody who votes for anything other than Flames in 4 does not have the zeal the team deserves heading into the playoffs.
