But Bouma has been a shrinking violet for a couple seasons now. The way he's playing, he'll probably be out of the NHL after this contract is up. Either he's too dumb to realize the kind of hockey he needs to play to earn another contract in this league, or he's already resigned himself to the fact that 2017-18 will be his last season and he's just playing out the string. Either way, he's a loser. I honestly don't see what he brings to the table that Hathaway doesn't.

Not a chance! He shouldn't have lost the timeout to begin with. Also, it should have still been tied after that challenge. That was horse ####. The refs don't have any integrity at all, as has been mentioned.

I know. I was saying it in GT. It was a frustrating rant since GG lost most of the challenges on the season. If it was a playoff game with a goal that breaks a tie, I am sure he should challenge but it is frustrating.

Which IIRC is the rule the league implemented thanks to the 2003-04 Flames that would start fights in the dying minutes if it was losing the game. I loved that team.

If Bart does get a penalty and the league doesn't look at Holzer for his attempt to take out Tkachuk's knees and his earlier 3rd man in shenanigans before Kesler could fully turtle, then it will be an utter joke.
