He has been a dissapointment. Forgot he was actually playing as he was invisible for most of the night. He has to use that size of his and start playing some physical hockey.

Lazar would be a better option at this point in time.

Really hate the Ducks. Eventually we will start owning them but not soon enough.

Flames absolutely owned the first period. The goal that ties it was on Engellend, the Bieksa goal was a bad on on Elliott and the third goal was poor defense.

Glad the Flames mixed it up but like many on here have stated. Where is Brouwer and Bouma there. That Bouma contract can't end soon enough and he will be out of the league sooner than later the way he has performed since getting paid. Brouwer wearing an A over Backlund is a joke. He has been a plug and is a bottom 6 floater. Unfortunately like Raymond this was a dud signing by Treliving. Our only hope is Vegas takes him.

Sad the Flamea could beat a Ducks team on a back to back and 3rd game in 4 nights. They were only missing their top and number 3 Dman. Their number 2 goes down tonight and we still can't do anything even with a 5 on 3.

The Flames need a stronger mental game. I hope this is a learning experience in not to get away from their game and get pulled into the oppositions style of game like the Ducks, but I feel like I've said that several times and the Flames still seem easy to throw off. Figure it out before playoffs.

Don't want to blame Elliott too much for this one....he was in relax mode and hadn't really psyched up for playing.....that wont be an issue in the playoffs.

The first goal was a bad rebound too. I realize it was a "trick" shot, but NHL starters can't allow a puffball rebound sit in the crease like that.

I wouldn't mind GG benching Brouwer and Bouma for the last two games. Heck even Monahan showed more scrappiness than either of them this game. Then hopefully they play with some fire in their bellies come playoffs.

Yup, and they were never going to be this year. They're still in a rebuild fer christ sakes. Flames are a playoff team, but they still have some work to do, and some dead weight to get rid of before they're considered a Cup contender. I think they're pretty close though. I could see them beating Edmonton for sure, and they have the potential to upset a team like the Hawks, which the Flames match up a bit better against.

Ferland should have just came in swinging like Holzner. The yapping is what got him the 10 minutes. If your going to go in Ferland then do it.

For years its shown if you trash talk like that with "I'll get you later tone " thw refs will throw your ass out . If you get straight to it then you'll get the normal call.

I hope we face the Ducks in the first round. This team needs a cathartic win to catapult itself into the next level, and there's no reason to run away from it.

For basketball fans, this reminds of the Bulls - Pistons battles of the very late 80s / early 90s. It definitely hurts, but there's no other way to get over that hump.

You'd think that Hathaway has to get called up. We need him in Bouma's spot, desperately.

Honestly it's better getting the losing and frustration out now, not later. It might be a good thing that we're locked into a WC spot now, so that guys can be rested without much of a cost. Rest up, practice hard and get the bugs out of their game. Get focused again because they've completely lost it the last few games.

The Oilers are in more danger with how everything has been going their way lately despite having poorer possession metrics. There's always a fall from grace after riding a huge high as we have seen here and that's probably gonna hit for them in the next handful of games.

Apparently we're locked into a wildcard spot now. Impossible for us to get into the Top 3 in the division. Ducks or Hawks. Pick your poison

The Ducks are beatable. The hockey gods hate Bieksa, Perry and Kesler. Fowler going down is the start of their fall from grace.

We'll shock the world and beat them and the refs in the playoffs.

The thing that really bugged me about Bouma was near the end when he drifted in near Gibson as the play stopped and Bieksa started roughing him up, Stajan of all guys, probably 30 pounds out of his weight class, comes in and in turn gets roughed up, Bouma just let it happen and left the scene.

I'm (sort of) fine if Bouma doesn't want to push back when Bieksa's obviously just being a dick, but to leave Matt friggin Stajan to fend for himself against that ogre when you can more than handle yourself, well that's going to leave me questioning where your give a crap level is.

Sharks win, Ducks win (obv), Oilers lose.

We cannot catch SJ or EDM for 3rd in the division now.

A wild card spot it is for sure now.

Only question is will it be Anaheim or Chicago. (outside chance at EDM but not very likely now)
