Very good game for the Flames. Good to see them get back on track after having the streak broken. Tough to do sometimes. Nice to have Stone and Elliott back in tonight as well as both played solid games. Tough games coming up, Flames are going to have bring their best.

Man alive, is Moose dialed in, should've had 3 shutouts in his last 4 games (thanks Brodie). The whole team plays so much more confident knowing he back there and he really held the team in it when they were only up by 1 about halfway through the 2nd when the Stars were pressing. This is the guy we thought we were getting back in June.
Stone really steadies the top 4, re-signing him is a must. This is easily the best D lineup since 2005/06.
Ferland on the top line just adds a whole new dimension. Just an unstoppable dump truck with some of the smoothest hands I've ever seen on a big man. They didn't hit the scoresheet tonight but had several great chances.
Tkachuk = god. That's all. Seriously, what rookie has the wherewithal to make the play he did on Gio's goal? Absolute superstar potential. 3M has been the MVP line all season.
No too concerned about Bennett's demotion, Stajan has been good lately and Bennett needs to simplify his game.
All in all, solid W, and we passed the Oil again.
Quick note: Debrusk is a very capable fill in when Kelly is doing his HNIC thing. Why they have Remenda over him for the Oiler broadcasts baffles me. Remenda + Quinn = .
