I can't figure out what this nut is going to do any better than anyone else, but I don't really see the CLIENT COPY stamp as a smoking gun.
I'm not saying he didn't do this because who the hell knows, but I would imagine significant number of people have/have had access to his financial papers over the years. Couldn't someone have just stolen these?
What does he get out of it? it doesn't make him look like the master of the universe* that he wants everyone to think he is, and it also points out that he doesn't pay much in taxes**.
Maybe it's a long con? This could be his most generous or flattering tax return, and they (probably correctly) assume that people will be bored of them and after a couple more, nobody will care? Such intrigue!
*of course 150 million in a year is a decent chunk of change, but it leaves him out of the Real Big Shots Club
**38 million is also a huge sum, but considering the circumstances, not so much
Another pivot. I think he feels trapped and desperation is setting in. At this point, he is trying to change the topic from his baseless allegations on Obama's 'wiretaps', the continued investigation on Russia, the incompetent administration he has surrounded himself with, the 'deep state' within Washington, consistent leaks, his unfavorable poll numbers, the way his surrogates get treated in the media and healthcare. The Republican party itself is fractured on this key issue. He doesn't exude any level of confidence and looks completely lost.
I think he is feeling the pressure. He is getting it from ALL sides. The media is relentless (as it should be). I don't think they will let anything go and will take him to task. This has become extremely personal for them.
The first 100 days are going to age Trump drastically.

Maybe Trump voters are a bit more nuanced than you and the others give credit? Just a thought.

If you are making a distinction between Trump voters and Trump supporters, possibly. Anybody supporting Trump is not exactly a scholar, or doing so honestly.
Apparently there's a possibility that Comey might actually go on record tomorrow about whether or not the FBI is investigating the Russia thing. Funny how this guy went out of his way to mention that they were investigating Clinton's emails days before the election, even though they didn't know if they even had anything at the time.
And yet he's sure taken his sweet ass time to go on the record about an investigation into Trump's Russia ties. This whole mess just seems so shady.
Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse said Tuesday that FBI Director James Comey promised to tell him Wednesday whether the FBI is investigating ties between Russia and the campaign of President Donald Trump.
The Rhode Island Democrat said that Comey made the promise in a March 2 meeting with him and Sen. Lindsey Graham, a Republican from South Carolina.
According to Whitehouse, Comey assured them he would confirm if an investigation exists "and the scope of their Russia/Trump investigation because he had not been able to at that point say that there was one."
Quote:
The FBI has not responded to a CNN request for comment on whether Comey will respond by Wednesday.
Graham expressed frustration Tuesday that the Trump administration has not yet provided any evidence of wiretapping and said he plans go "tough" on the administration during Wednesday's hearing.

This is one of the worst things I have ever watched.
2 pages?!
Christ, this feeds Trump's supporters and their theories of a media persecuting them.
I would believe the ultimate point is the implications of the current tax plan on the taxes of a person with an income / business profile like Trump. His new plan would see him personally paying much less.
Which brings us to point three. Why 2005, of all years? Why THAT YEAR? There are so many years to choose from. Why not choose a year that is, possibly, more incriminating? Because, by all appearances, it seems like the least incriminating year. Maybe he did it himself — chose the year himself. Which would make sense because…
Fourth, by making the media look petty regarding the reporting of a seemingly random, irrelevant tax return, Trump may be looking to make the entire discussion of his tax returns look random and irrelevant. If it works, every discussion of tax returns henceforth will be silenced with “fake news” and eventually disappear — and, if it doesn’t, the “obsession” with tax returns can actually become a win for Trump after this story. The labeling of this story with the words “illegal” and “dishonest” by the Trump administration seem to confirm that this is how they will use the story.
So yeah, I think he did it. I mean, he has been suspected of releasing evidence to change the conversation sometimes, as well. I mean, he was suspected of releasing the tapes to Fox News of himself posing as publicist “John Miller”complimenting himself on a radio show in order to control the conversation, in a discussion that blew Megyn Kelly away. To see what I mean, check out the clip below.

Is this really that surprising? The "#### the government" vote was going to Bernie, Trump and Johnson since the start and Bernie dropping out resulted in Trump picking up a lot of his votes. The Bernie-Trump bleed-over has always been significant.

Eh, not really. In the end Hillary ended up getting the vast majority of Bernie's voters. Trump got a little bit of that vote, but Bernie voters weren't really big #### the government people (they overwhelming support single payer which kinda undermines #### the government). Bernie's people are the #### corporations and the wealthy vote, and obviously those people are never voting for the GOP and their desire to get on its knees for the corporations and the wealthy.

West Virginia is coal country, Trump is going to bring back high paying coal jobs
