So long as the Kings have 3 games with the Flames remaining, they aren't entirely irrelevant.

It is a nine-point swing, and the Kings have only 16 games left. If the Flames are .500 the rest of the way the Kings need an 11-4-1 record to catch them. It's not happening.

Iginla has certainly lost a step but once he gets going he's not obviously slower than either of his linemates. Looks good in deep with the puck.
