Pretty much. I won't be as chipper as some folks on here until they are both playing.

Can Lazar play D? They said if there was an injury he could draw in. He couldnt be worse than Wideman, right?

Then why would he say "day to day" at all?
He simply could have said, "they'll both be evaluated tomorrow"

They have no incentive either way to say they're out short term or long term.

Darren Haynes @DarrenWHaynes
If you haven't heard, both Dougie Hamilton (lower body) and Michael Stone (upper body) will be re-evaluated tomorrow. That's all we know.

I was at the game so didn't see the replays, but from where I was sitting Stone's shoulder looked to be completely dislocated. Looked at my buddy and said " ####, he's probably done for the year".

It looks like a hand/wrist injury to Stone for sure.

Looks like he got whacked when picking up his stick.

I'm still going with head. If it was a arm/shoulder issue the trainer probably wouldn't grab that arm to walk him down the tunnel.

Must have been the dome draught taking hold of me. Looked like a shoulder on shoulder hit to me and Stone's shoulder drooped instantly.

Gelinas chuckled out loud when he hesitantly said day to day. It's not just CP paranoia. Was pretty obvious that he thinks at least one injury is going to have some term to it.

If Stone dislocated his shoulder, it will likely be 3-4wks recovery time, depending on it anything tore during the dislocation. I dislocated my elbow about 5yrs ago and it was 4-5wks plus physio before it had full range of motion.

yeah, sure looked like stone dropped his shoulder when he was going back to the dressing room...

small chance of a collarbone i suppose...

but with the shoulder, there are degrees of severity... so we all just need to keep our fingers crossed!

chances are they might not be very forthcoming as well, so even after tomorrow, it still might be a vague "upper body injury" description

I wish they would be straightforward. Just pull the bandaid off.

We're playing meaningful hockey this spring, fans will want to know when players will be expected back. Would be kind of ####y of them to withhold that information just to keep people's hopes falsely up.

It's more about teams not wanting other teams to know about any injuries.

That's what I see as well when I look at the clip. Let's hope nothing is broken.
